Thermal Gravimetry Analysis (TGA) is a method of thermal anaysis used to determine thermal characteristic of a material.
Instrument specification:
TGA 4000 PerkinElmer
Sample specification:
- Sample should be in prepared condition.
- Particles: 80 - 100 mesh (150 - 180 um).
- Sheet (paper/film): dimensions 3 x 3 cm.
- Material: Polymer
- Temperature interval: 25 oC - 500 oC
- Resulting data is in thermogram with quantitative data.
- The test must include the method used for the sample to be tested.
- Data will be presented in quantitative based on thermogram display
