This is a thermal process for syntesis of minerals from ore or rocks with or without chemicals. It is intended for reduction, calcination or chemical decomposition with max temperature at 1000 °C. Users need to bring their own crucible. The crucibles size is either A5 or A1. The dimension of the crucibles are upper diameter : 124 mm, lower diameter : 86 mm, height : 152 mm for A5 and upper diameter 79 : mm, lower diameter 55 : mm, height : 97 mm for A1. The maximum weight of the sample is 3/4 of the crucible volume for calcination and regular reduction or 1/2 of the crucible volume for chemical decomposition. Users have to inform all details of their intended process (detail information on samples and chemicals used). Oven can be used at 300 °C max. The max duration of the process is 8 hours per day.
