The method used to measure specific surface area using the BET (Brunauer-Emmett-Teller) method is the gas adsorption method. This method is used to measure the specific surface area of materials, especially solid materials such as porous materials, zeolites and activated carbon. The amount of sample required is 3-5 grams

Note:
1) The maximum number of samples in one application is 8 samples, if more then only 8 samples will be verified;
2) Please before clicking "Apply for Service," see the schedule for the available service;
3) Customers must complete the Form "F-BRIN-LSEBBL-LAB-031-R0 BET Detail Pengujian" that can be downloaded in the "Related Document" section then select "Service SOP File." The completed form in PDF format is uploaded along with sample photos in the "Other Supporting Files" and "Photo" sections;
4) Make sure that the name and number of samples registered in ELSA are the same as the number of samples written on the Form "F-BRIN-LSEBBL-LAB-031-R0 BET Detail Pengujian"
5) Incomplete supporting documents can cause the registration of test samples to be canceled by the laboratory officer.
