Vicker Hardness Tester is a tool used to measure the hardness value of a material (metal). The basic principle of this test is that a pyramid-shaped indenter presses on the part of the material being tested. Then the surface of the material that experiences indentation is evaluated after being given a predetermined pressure of force. The results of the Vicker hardness measurement will be calculated automatically using software that has been installed on the computer.

Material/Sample Specifications:
- Solid metal, Minimum: 5 x 5 x 2 mm; Maximum 5 x 5 x 2 cm
- Flat surface (MANDATORY) and smooth (minimum has been sanded 1000, mirror surface is recommended)
- Does not accept sample preparation.
- 10x and 50x lenses
- Load 1, 3, 5, 10, 25, 50, 100, 300, 500, 1000 grams

Customers must complete the Form that can be downloaded in the "Service File" section then select "Service SOP File". The completed form in .PDF format is uploaded along with the Sample Photo in the "Other Supporting Files" and "Photo Data File" sections.
