This instrument is used for the quantitative analysis process of volatile organic chemical compounds such as alcohol, short chain fatty acids, essential oils. Samples received without preparation are in the form of a solution which will be filtered with a 0.2 µm syringe filter at the Advanced Characterization Laboratory, KS Umar Anggara Jenie, Gunungkidul.

Provision :
- Consumable materials provided by the user (such as 0.2 µm syringe filter, glass vial, glove, tissue, lab coat)
- Compound target standards and internal standards are provided by the user
- The sample is ready to run and has been filtered with a 0.2 µm syringe filter
- The sample was placed in a 2 mL GC vial
- The time for using the instrument is calculated from the first injection of the sample until the instrument is turned off at a maximum of 15.30 WIB
- The tool operator helps with the technical use of the tool
- The method and analysis results of the GC FID tool are the full responsibility of the user/customer
