AAS Service Description:
Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (AAS) is a technique used to measure the concentration of elements in a sample by analyzing how much light is absorbed when the elements are in their atomic form. The instrument works by atomizing the sample (converting it into free atoms), passing light through it, and measuring the amount of light absorbed at specific wavelengths. The absorbed light is then used to determine the elemental concentration in the sample.
Parameters:
Lead (Pb), Cadmium (Cd), Chromium (Cr), Iron (Fe), Silver (Ag), Gold (Au), Cobalt (Co), Copper (Cu), Potassium (K), Magnesium (Mg), Manganese (Mn), Nickel (Ni), Zinc (Zn), Aluminum (Al), Molybdenum (Mo), Sodium (Na), Palladium (Pd), Platinum (Pt), Silica (Si), Titanium (Ti), Vanadium (V)
Capable of analyzing metal content in samples from:
Environmental samples: seawater, river water, wastewater, sludge, airborne dust
Materials: metals, semiconductors, ceramics, minerals, glass, ceramics, IC chips
Chemical and industrial products: chemicals, polymers, petroleum, oils, catalysts, chemical products, biodiesel
Medical and biological samples: medical, biological, pharmaceutical samples, blood, animals, plants, medicines, food products
Notes:
* One sample includes analysis of up to 4 elements
* A photo/image of the sample must be provided
* Samples must be ready for testing/injection, with a minimum volume of 10 mL per element

* Specify the solution matrix/sample type and the elements to be tested
