The Safterm Rotary Tube Furnace is a tube furnace equipped with a rotary function, powered by a single-phase supply, with a maximum temperature of 1200°C, and is specifically intended for internal BRIN users. This service uses a payment scheme through Elsa Points.
For the use of the Safterm Rotary Tube Furnace outside working hours, users are required to complete Form F-BRIN-02-02 (Application Form for Permission to Use Process, Preparation, Workshop, and Other Laboratory Facilities Outside Working Hours), which can be accessed via Aksesibilitas Laboratorium - Download Formulir.
Internal BRIN personnel outside the ORNM Metallurgy Laboratory who wish to use this facility are also required to complete Form F-BRIN-02-05 (Laboratory Usage – Internal Personnel), available in the same menu.
Users are expected to read the SOP and sample requirements in the Service Documents before using the facility.
