The purpose of the test is to evaluate and ensure emissions that arise due to harmonic interference in the mains voltage that causes electronic equipment to emit EM emissions, especially for equipment that uses switching and lighting modules.

Test Objects: Multimedia equipment (MME), electromedical, automotive and other electronic equipment according to the scope of the test method.
Test Parameters: In accordance with the references in IEC 61000-3-2 and IEC 61000-3-3
Test Method: IEC 61000-3-2 and IEC 61000-3-3, CISPR 32, CISPR 11, IEC 60601-1-2
Test Equipment: Harmonics and flicker tester, PC with software.

To be able to submit a test, customers must have an account at elsa.brin.go.id. Testing can be carried out if there is an agreement between the customer and the test laboratory and also the availability of test time and the test implementer. The test agreement is made based on one of the results of the review that has been made, approved by the customer. This review is carried out to:
(1) find out how the device/tool ​​works based on the device's supporting data;
(2) find out what additional tools are needed to carry out the test that must be provided and prepared by the customer;
(3) agree on the number of test parameters (eg: test mode), test costs based on the number of test parameters requested by the customer, test time;
(4) agree that the test lab only provides test results and not opinions on the test results of the product being tested;
(5) Testing costs refer to: PP Number 18 of 2015.

Requests for services should be preceded by a discussion to identify testing requirements and to identify the test pricing  can be sent via email to labemc@brin.go.id or call at 081291990029 . The laboratory may reject service requests that are not preceded by a discussion. 

In order to maintain facilities and infrastructure, starting from December 20 to January 1 of each year, we temporarily do not provide services. Services will reopen on January 3nd of the following year.
